Chef Vinod's knowledge of Rajasthan, the language and his connection with some of India's renowned chefs and personnel in the hotel industry made this tour a memorable one for me. I learned some of the secrets and intricacies of Indian cooking through discussions, cooking demonstration and hands on experience. I visited palaces, ancestral homes, temples, forts, and of course, the Taj Mahal. I also enjoyed the experience of a camel ride in the desert, an elephant ride, a boat ride on Lake Pichola and attended the Desert Festival in Jaisalmer.
